A note about bronze rings: Bronze is an alloy made of copper and tin and we love that it's strong, durable, easy to clean and has a warm golden tone. Because of the copper content, sometimes our skin can darken where our skin oils come in contact with the bronze. This is more likely to happen with a snug fitting piece of jewelry, like rings. The discolouration is not harmful and can be washed off with soap and water.
Designer/owner Kate Singer has been creating Marmalade Jewellery for more than 15 years, working alongside her husband David Kerr, who has mastered the art of jewellery casting. Together, the Marmalade team creates every charm, ring, and earring from scratch in their Toronto studio using ethical, low-chemical production techniques with 100% recycled sterling silver and solid bronze. Marmalade aims to create quality pieces that are creative and engaging while being classy, wearable, and long-lasting.
