What is a Selkie? Tales of Selkies are predominantly found in Scotland. They are mythological creatures with a calm and bountiful temperament who often appear to saves the lives of child or fisherman who have fallen into the sea.

This is a limited edition collaboration between Donna Wilson and Kiriki Press, transforming Donna’s Creature into a pocket-sized DIY Embroidered Doll Kit.

Selkie is a Level 3 pattern, using a variety of stitches that cover up most of the pattern surface. Great for adventurous beginners or seasoned stitchers!

You will need a 6" embroidery hoop, sewing thread, and scissors for this project.
