Each of the designs featured on WerkShoppe's items originate from original works of art created by an extremely talented network of emerging and established artists. A portion of the proceeds goes to the featured artist and programs that support art education and enrichment programs and initiatives.
About the Artist: Helen Black is a freelance illustrator and surface pattern designer based in the seaside city of Brighton, U.K. She uses a mix of painted, long with hand drawn and digital techniques within her work; black ink is her tool of choice when creating textures and patterns for her designs. Helen loves using bold, bright colors and creating fun characters, as well as illustrating florals. Bringing a little bit of joy to people is the aim of her work. She shares her desk with her cat, Earl, and when not designing, loves a seaside walk.
