How to purchase gift certificates:

Simply select the amount you want, enter the to: and from: fields, plus a short message and click the Add to Cart button.  The gift certificate will show up in your cart.  If you would rather print out the gift certificate and fill these fields in yourself, you may leave these fields blank.

I purchased a gift certificate, now what?

Once you have purchased your gift certificate, you will receive an order confirmation with your redemption code that you can give to the recipient right away.  However, you will also receive an email within 24 hours with a jpeg gift certificate that looks like the one above (with your information of course).  Once you receive it, you may pass it on to your receiver via email, mail, in person, etc.!

Do I get an actual certificate in the mail?

No, you will receive an electronic gift certificate that you may either print out and mail, or email to the receiver. If this is a big problem and you would rather Freshie & Zero mail a paper gift certificate, just let me know and I will be happy to print one out and mail it in addition to the emailed certificate you will receive.

What if I lose the certificate/code?

No problem - just let me know and I can send it to you again.  However, it is like cash, so if you lost it and you fear that your little sister or evil neighbor has found it and wants to use it herself, I will need to give you a new code so that your old redemption code will no longer be valid. I can only give you a new code once, though, so keep your code in a safe place!

Do the gift certificates expire?

They are valid for 6 months from the purchase date - after that it will no longer be valid. If we have the recipient's email on file, they will be sent an email reminder after 5 months in case there is a balance remaining on the gift certificate.
